Plot:

Turning 40 should be a year when everything is falling into place; however, 42-year-old Bian Liang is completely at a loss. As a father, who actively seeks breakthroughs, he encounters hurdles in his quiet and indifferent son and has reached a bottleneck in his career.

In his forties, Bian Liang, who has always felt that everything was smooth-sailing for his family is caught by surprise now that they’re facing a crisis. Suddenly, all the wisdom and experience he has accumulated over the past 40 years of his life are no longer enough for him to deal with various problems and even his past methods seem to have been wrong. Despite feeling confused and powerless, Bian Liang being a responsible middle-aged man can only move forward hard while trying to find a solution.
